Flexible expansion with Fred Butler
Fred Butler stands for flexible modular franchising. Territorial exclusivity is contractually agreed, giving franchise partners the opportunity to grow in their defined territory in line with market conditions.
Hot Shop
In the Hot Shop model, the franchise partner operates a cleaning shop approx. 150 sqm in area, including one or two CO
2 machines and other necessary cleaning equipment such as washing machine, dryer, ironing table etc. Here the collection point and cleaning facilities are under one roof. This model is adequate for a territory with a population of around 100,000. It serves B2C customers in addition to Office Service customers and other B2B sales channels. Further collection points (shops) can also be established in the contractually agreed territory.
Plant Model
Territories with a population of over 100,000 can be served by a franchise under the Fred Butler Plant model. Franchise partners operate their own cleaning facility with up to four CO
2 machines and a "Support Center" from which the partners manage their regions. This model includes the establishment of collection points (shops) for B2C customers in addition to the establishment and management of all possible b2B sales channels in the defined territory. A maximum of four managing partners may combine to operate the Plant Model. One partner must be 100% available for operations and should be a qualified textile cleaning specialist or gain appropriate qualification by taking internal training courses. Territories with populations of up to 1.5 million can be served by this model, which covers all types of service.
As an interim measure, our Hybrid Model offers franchise partners the opportunity of using existing Fred Butler Plant facilities in the region until they establish their own plant.
Fred Butler aligns the franchise models to the corresponding features of specific territories and markets and provides consulting advice for franchise partners to select the optimum solution for the chosen territory. Franchise partners also have the option of entering the system via the Hot Shop Model even in territories with high populations, and moving through a series of investment phases to the Plant Model.
