Researching into gentler methods of cleanliness

Fred Butler consistently pursues research into more efficient cleaning processes based on liquid CO2. In collaboration with prestigious research institutes, Fred Butler develops innovative cleaning methods that guarantee hygiene and cleanliness even for challenging textiles. This joint research model enables practice-based and efficient cleaning solutions to be developed that reduce costs to the industry and protect the environment.

Areas of research include:

  • CO2-based cleaning methods for complicated and delicate textiles 
  • Process optimization and efficiency throughout the cleaning process as a whole
  • Development of new markets and fields of application in collaboration with our customers.
Fred Butler works with distinguished research institutes such as the  Hohensteiner Institutes and the wfk research Institute for Cleaning Technology.
